Pangkor Island
Beach Resort is a magnificent beach resort at the north end of Pangkor
Island. The resort is famous for its breathtaking 1.2 km private beach
which was voted the best on the west coast of Malaysia. While relaxation
is the goal of most who venture to Pangkor, there are flexible meeting
facilities available, and professional staff to plan and execute a
successful event.

attractive low rise Malay-style architecture, this recently refurbished
258 rooms resort inclusive of suites spans across a
cluster of private villas, the
premier Ocean Wing, Pacific Wing and Garden Wing The newly renovated
villas is an epitome of a traditional Malay village, sited on one end of
the bay along the undulating slope covered with tropical jungle, with
the sea front right on its doorstep. Each of the villas offer commanding
vista of the sea and is luxuriously furnished with a large day bed
fringing the bay windows, deep sunken bath and an oversized outdoor

The Garden Wing
Surrounded with tropical gardens, the Garden Wing features 58 units with
all the modern amenities. Flanking the low-rise unit are jungle foliage,
with cacophony of birds that can be heard in the early morning and
evening.
The Pacific Wing
The four-storey Pacific Wing offers 81 elegant rooms and Suites, private
balconies and modern comforts. For those seeking a more romantic feel,
selective rooms offer four-poster beds to snuggle amidst the warm
ambience.
The Ocean Wing
All its 102 deluxe sea-facing units are completely refurbished,
luxuriously spacious with private balconies, bay windows, separate

BANQUET
The resort's idyllic
surroundings provide the perfect setting for productive meetings and
conferences. The resort have different room settings and seating
capacities to accommodate the size of your design. The main room is the
Pacific Ballroom, which can seat up to 200 guests for a sit down dinner,
and can be divided into 2 sections by movable partitions. It is used for
conventions and meetings, tour group buffets, and as an extension to the
Hornbill Restaurant. Other, smaller meeting rooms are located on the
second floor.

Hornbill Restaurant
- The restaurant is an informal open air dining
area, which overlooks the swimming pool and secluded beach front.
Offerings from a la carte and snack menus include a wide range of local
and international dishes. For breakfast there is an international and
continental buffet on offer . Indulge in delightful buffet for dinner or
choose from the àla carte menu. A specially designed menu for children
is also available.
Pacific Terrace
- With
a seating capacity of 80, the Pacific Terrace Restaurant and Bar offers
a relaxed restaurant environment facing the Pacific Wing pool. Its
ambience and decor brings out its casual image for guests to dine,
offering a choice of fresh seafood, Western cuisine and Chef's specials
on the Island. The Chef and Maitre'd circulate among the guests
recommending their daily specials, plus cocktail of the day and a choice
of fine international
wines. Weather permitting, dining under the stars is available by
the pool area, with easy listening music.

Golden Oriole Lobby Lounge and Bar - With a spectacular bay
view, the Lobby Lounge and Bar specialises in local and international
beers. Popular award winning cocktails are also served. An evening at
the open air Lobby Lounge promises to be an enjoyable outing with live
entertainment. Local newspapers available for your reading pleasure in
the lounge whilst there are karaoke facilities in the bar.

GETTING
AROUND
Pangkor Island Beach Resort, located off the coast of Lumut in the
state of Perak, is among the more popular beach resorts in the country.
The journey to Lumut from Kuala Lumpur takes approximately 3 hours via
the coastal road or the North-south Expressway. From the North-south
Expressway, exit at Bidor junction and drive towards Teluk Intan. On
leaving Teluk Intan, head towards Sitiawan and then onwards to Lumut.
From Lumut it is a short 30 minutes ferry to the resort. Alternatively,
one can take a 45 minutes flight from Subang Airport via Berjaya Air.
Flights are daily except Tuesdays and Thursdays (one flight per day).
